FAQs

How can a menopause coach help me?

A menopause coach provides education, support, and personalized strategies to help women navigate perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. This can include guidance on symptoms, lifestyle changes, sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, and mindset.

How do I know if menopause coaching is right for me?

Coaching is helpful if you're experiencing symptoms that affect your daily life—such as sleep issues, hot flashes, weight changes, brain fog, mood shifts, or overwhelm—and you want practical, evidence-based tools and accountability. Let’s face it, sometimes we just need a coach to get us over the hump of what seems overwhelming.

Does a menopause coach provide medical advice or replace my healthcare provider?

No. A menopause coach does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care. Instead, coaching complements your medical team by helping you apply lifestyle strategies, understand options, and advocate for yourself in clinical settings.

Is this the same as hormone therapy?

No. Coaching is not a treatment or a medical intervention. However, many women seek coaching while also using hormonal or non-hormonal treatments—coaching simply enhances daily quality of life.

What is the difference between perimenopause and menopause?

A short, user-friendly explanation:

  • Perimenopause is the transition phase where symptoms begin and hormones fluctuate.

  • Menopause is reached after 12 months without a period.

  • Post-menopause includes the years after.
Coaching supports women in all stages.

How do I get started?

You can include:

  • A discovery call

  • A short intake form

  • An optional symptom assessment

  • Available packages or programs

Do you offer custom plans?

Yes—plans are typically individualized based on your symptoms, lifestyle, health goals, and daily demands.

I’m not sure what I’m experiencing, is that okay?

Absolutely. Many women aren’t sure whether symptoms are hormonal, stress-related, or something else. Coaching helps you sort through what’s happening and create an action plan.

What makes your approach unique?

I am a wardrobe stylist turned coach! While having a personal wardrobe styling business I’ve had the pleasure of hearing from a lot of women experiencing menopause over the years. Not only do they struggle with what to wear, but their health, how they see themselves, where they are in life, career, and personal relationships. Like my clients, I too suffered from menopause-related symptoms and had no answers to solve them. Menopause is a time that no one prepared us for- not our mother’s, grandmothers, nor our trusted doctors over the years. How come no one talked about it?

At this time in history, the topic of menopause has been pulled to the forefront of social media- this is a good thing!! We need the attention of doctors to treat us for the symptoms we are experiencing but also for our life habits to support us.That said, there is a lot of noise about menopause from differing sources of information. Women are just seeking real answers they can act on -and that is why I created Menoed.

I have a Master’s degree in public health and a professional background in maternal and child health behavior change. A huge part of behavior change is understanding what people know, what they are not sure about, and what they want to know to make their lives better. I created Menoed with this in mind.

Menoed focuses on educating women about the phases of menopause so they feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Menoed helps women to sort through the noise of all the information out there and coaches them in the habits that are going to make the difference- better sleep, nutrition, movement, supplements, and learning how to obtain trusted healthcare providers that listen.  When women know more about what is going on with their hormones, they are more likely to make choices and tradeoffs that fit their lives.
